Samavaar is named after a container to make tea. A samavaar literally “self-boiler” is a heated metal container traditionally used to heat and boil water. Since the heated water is typically used to make tea, many samovars have a ring-shaped attachment around the chimney to hold and heat a teapot filled with tea concentrate. This is a traditional yet very commonly used equipment especially amongst the village women, as they carry tea to the fields for their husbands in a samavaar.
Samavaar is located on the ground floor in the southern wing of the property. It over looks the garden and has a private door in to the garden. The size of this room is 17 by 12 feet and faces east. The bathroom of this room is 5 by 9 feet.
